Campfire
6 wood and 3 stone. It gives light, warmth, cooking and water purification.
GUIDE 06
Strong tools are prepared, assembled and forged.
WORKSTATIONS
6 wood and 3 stone. It gives light, warmth, cooking and water purification.
7 wood and 4 stone. It combines tool heads, handles, bindings and advanced structures.
4 wood and 3 stone. It turns raw stone into pickaxe and axe heads.
8 wood and 12 stone. It heats copper or iron, casts ingots and prepares metal heads.
TWO METALS
Mine copper in the mountains for surface tools. Mine iron in caves for tools that are faster and more durable.
The same process makes copper or iron pickaxes, axes and scythes.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
Craft an axe, pickaxe, shovel or scythe. The shovel lays paths and removes planted bushes.
A stone spear improves on fists. A hammer dismantles placed structures and returns their materials.
Bottles, bandages, the sun hat and the fur coat cover water, healing and temperature.
Chests, signs, rugs, beds, palisades and gates give the camp a lasting shape.
Remember: recipes show when an assembly table is required nearby. The forge prepares metal parts, but the table finishes the tool.
These recipes are available from the basic C menu. The hat is made in the same menu as the coat; it does not require a nearby assembly table. Bandages previously used 15 fibre, and the rod used 1 fibre instead of string. Existing items are not converted or removed.
On phones, each card keeps an icon, a short name and a simple availability state. Selected-item details list owned and required material amounts. Desktop and iPad cards also retain their costs for easy comparison. Short clothing and workstation names keep the grid readable.
When quantity selection is offered, drag its slider within the allowed range. Placing parts and assembling remain manual.
The bed, forge, salt extractor, meat dryer and shovel require discovered blueprints. A padlock is different from missing materials. Recover a blueprint from a natural chest to learn the recipe for this adventure; opening the chest alone is not enough. Learning uses no bag slot and the blueprint is not spent with each craft.
Find them in any order in abandoned camps, final cave chests and eligible ruin chests. The reusable crafted Roof blueprint is a separate item, not one of these five unlocks. Existing placed forges still work in old saves, but crafting another requires its blueprint. Read all five costs, probabilities and duplicate rules.
Stone axes have 160 durability, copper axes 240 and iron axes 300. An accepted tree or stump strike costs one point regardless of harvest power. Holding the action repeats strikes at their normal cadence. At zero, the tool breaks and is removed.
Existing axes keep their remaining proportion: 50/100 becomes 80/160, once only, in bags and chests including underground storage. Pickaxes and other tools are unchanged. See salt extraction and meat drying for the new production chain.
